Here's what our students are saying about their Cook's World experience...
I like that I can ask all of my questions....I"m a beginner and can be intimidated in the kitchen. I am feeling more confident from my classes at Cook's World.
I had alot of fun in the Knife Skills Workshop and will use everything I learned!
VERY inviting atmosphere here.
I really like the warm, friendly environment here. The staff is great and the level of instruction FABULOUS. I also like that I can buy cooking equipment here at student discounts.
I like the variety of people that come to the classes here.
Learning from 'masterful' teachers here is a delight!
Cook's World's classes are informal enough for ease of asking questions and professional enough to really learn.
The format of the BASICS of COOKING for BUSY PEOPLE 6-week series is really conducive to learning ALOT.
The Basics of Cooking for Busy People taught me how to use 'random' ingredients to prepare great food...DEFINITE confidence builder.
The Cook's World folks are SO friendly!
I like how comfortable, unpretentious and loaded with good information your classes are!
I learned 'a ton'.....the BASICS has an informative, healthy focus...with a focus on efficiency for the BUSY cook.
I can always find a helpful class and a super selection of kitchen "must-have" tools.
Oh, fyi, I have taken cooking classes at four different schools in the Seattle area, and I have enjoyed your school's classes the most. (I also learned the most from them.)
Nancie left plenty of time for questions in the BASICS series and answered ALL of them!!!
The GO FISH class w. Chef/Instructor Steve Smrstik was great! I enjoyed the discussions about the types of fish, where they come from, etc. Also, the food we prepared was excellent!
The GO FISH class taught me how to cook fish other than salmon! Chef Steve Smrstik clearly knows his stuff!
The PIZZA class w. Chef Geo. DiPasquale was great! Love that George (he's from NY!) AND making the dough and eating all the great pizzas we made.
VIETNAMESE Cooking class was a very good & informative one! Great mother & daughter team...great tips & explanations...loved their 'restaurant' perspective.
Amazing blend of connecting with students, delivering non-stop excellent dishes to taste, interspersed with shopping and pantry-stocking tips and time-saving culinary skills...FANTASTIC!
Cook/s World has a wonderful retail shop that supports all the wonderful skills & recipes taught.
The classes at Cook's World have changed my way of thinking. I already like to cook but have always had frustration in the kitchen. These classes have helped me understand better about improvising!
Chef/Instructor Nancie Brecher is highly sensitive to nutrition, sustainable agriculture in cooking and the realities of ethnic diversity in culinary styles...she blended these values nicely in our class.
I am so grateful to Cook's World for teaching me how to cook! I can't believe it (neither can my husband who says THANK YOU!). I am no longer recipe dependent; I actually know how to use herbs & spices; I can talk about food & know what I'm talking about! I get compliments on my cooking...now that's amazing! Thank you for helping me to reach my goal to learn how to cook before I have my first child!
I have had a grand time each time I have attended a class!
