BBQ, GRILLING & SMOKING
Join guest Chef "Smokin" Steve, local BBQ competitor and champion, and learn to dazzle your family and friends with Steve's Famous Smoked Ribs, "beer-butt" chicken, grilled pizza, "cedar-planked" salmon, grilled herby corn-on-the-cob, grilled bacon-wrapped Jalapeno Poppers and MORE! BBQ'ing, smoking and grilling completely explained! Steve is a 20 yr. veteran of BBQ competitions and runs a successful BBQ catering company. Guest chef Friday Elliot knows good Mexican cooking having learned from her Mexican Mama & Grandma helping them in the kitchen since she was a young girl in California. In this HANDS-ON class we will makes lots of flavor-rich Tamales: Green Chile/Corn Tamales served w. a 'classic & quick' Red Chile Sauce, Chicken tamales and a dessert tamale:Aromatic Sweet Potato w. Caramel Sauce! Also, A mexican pineapple salad spiced with a variety of colorful fresh chiles (chiles demystified!) & mouthwatering 'green' Tomatillo-Chipolte Salsa & chips.... Come hungry!
